Camilla Thurlow and Jonny Mitchell shared a first kiss on Love Island 2017 last night – but what happened next?
New spin-off show Love Island: Aftersun with Caroline Flack has provided us with the answer which is… nothing much, really.
Camilla and Jonny enjoyed a first snog together yesterday in the villa following a game of truth or dare.
They then headed off to bed where they reflected on the kiss.
“You won’t regret it,” Jonny said.
But Camilla replied: “I’ll see. You never know what’s going to happen the next day.”
As Jonny declared his feeling for Camilla, she made it clear nothing was going to happen between them that evening and said: “Just make sure you stay on your side of the bed.”
Camilla decided to couple up with Jonny on Friday night, sending Harley Judge home in the first recoupling of the series.
Reflecting on Harley’s departure in yesterday’s episode, a tearful Camilla admitted: “Without Harley the villa for me is just going to be a much harder place to be, but he really kindly said when he left to just keep going and I’ll definitely keep that in mind and try and do it justice.”
While some of the islanders were surprised Camilla had chosen a new arrival over Harley, Amber had definitely spotted a chemistry between the pair: “You know what? Strong contenders, I think. You watch Camilla and Jonny. I’ve got my eye on them.”
Later after enjoying breakfast together, Camilla admitted to falling a bit for Jonny.
She told the beach hut: “I feel happy when I’m talking to him. Last night obviously was hard but I feel like today will hopefully be fresh start.”
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
