Caitlyn Jenner has supposedly been offered £1 million to join the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 house.
The reality star, most famous for her appearances in Keeping Up with the Kardashians and I Am Cait, apparently met show bosses this week.
In the UK to promote her autobiography, Caitlyn is said to have had a chat with Channel 5 producers and was made an offer to join the line up.
“The bookers are really keen to have Caitlyn in the house,” a source claimed.
The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “They know she’d be TV gold so they’re prepared to break the bank for her.”
Whether or not Caitlyn is interested or not remains to be seen, but BB chiefs reckon securing her for the line up would boost ratings.
The source added: “The world has been fascinated by Caitlyn’s story and getting her would push ratings through the roof.”
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother launches later this year, following the upcoming ‘civilian’ BBUK.
Other names linked to the new series at the time being include Donald Trump’s ex wife Ivana Trump, TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, Union J singer Jaymi Hensley and Ex On The Beach’s Chanelle McCleary.
Plus there’s TV psychic Derek Acorah, wrestling star Hulk Hogan, Britain’s Next Top Model contestant Talulah-Eve Brown, X Factor’s Sam Callahan, celebrity tattooist Kevin Paul and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 said they did not comment on housemate rumours.
Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 this summer.
