Britain’s Got Talent 2017: Jamie Lee Harrison stuns with Everybody Hurts cover

Jamie Lee Harrison stuns on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 tonight with his voice.
Saturday night is round five of the auditions with another batch of contestants hoping for yeses from the judges.

One of those is 24 year old singer songwriter Jamie Lee Harrison from Newcastle – which goes down well with Ant and Dec.

Jamie discovered his passion for music while studying at university and has been performing at local pubs and clubs since.

“Recently I got to a brick wall and I thought it was time to give up,” Jamie tells the judges tonight, “A lot of people saying I don’t have it in me but it’s all I wanted to do, it’s all I’ve ever known.”

Jamie sings REM’s ‘Everybody Hurts’ and impresses the judges and audience with the powerful performance.

“How do you give up on a passion? You just don’t!” encourages Alesha Dixon, “I’m so glad you came here today, that was really soulful and just a beautiful vocal and really honest.”

David Walliams added: “As soon as you started singing, it was really moving.”

But what did always hard to please Simon Cowell make of it all?

Can Jamie get through to the next round? Tune in to Britain’s Got Talent 2017 tonight to find out!
