Big Brother 2017’s first trailer is here but when does it start on TV?

Big Brother 2017 is on its way and Channel 5 has revealed a first look teaser.

Earlier today a first taste of the new series was unveiled with the new Big Brother eye, formed from a multi-coloured Union Jack flag, featuring a patchwork of eclectic images representing modern Britain.

And now the official BBUK Twitter account has posted a first glimpse of the new series online.

“Stand by for a very British summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration… and more fireworks than you could imagine. #BBUK” they teased.

Channel 5 has promised the new series of Big Brother will be “the ultimate social experiment” when it launches next month.

Going back to its roots, Big Brother 18 will be a “must-watch culture clash of modern Britain”

“At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain,” Channel 5 said today.

They continued: “Standby for a very British summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration…and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment.

“The United Kingdom of Big Brother…and everyone is welcome.”

When does Big Brother start?
Channel 5 has so far only confirmed that Big Brother will be starting in June.

Emma Willis will be back to host the grand live launch to witness the highly anticipated selection of housemates enter the iconic house.

While no specific BBUK 2017 air date has been revealed just yet, it’s expected to launch within the first two weeks of June.

Meanwhile, Big Brother’s Bit On the Side will return weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal.

As always, Joining him will be a variety of celebrity panellists, talking heads and an audience of BB fans to debate hot topics, reveal exclusives and go behind the scenes of the main show.
