Big Brother 2017 spoilers! nasty new People’s Housemate twist REVEALED

The People’s Housemate twist continues this weekend but this time all is not as it seems.

Tom Barber has been the ‘People’s Housemate’ ever since launch night when he was voted in by viewers alongside 15 other housemates.

Over the past week he’s had all the power in the house, including regular communication with the otuside world.

But all that changes this weekend, host Emma Willis has revealed.

Tom.
She told Bit on The Side last night that Tom will continue to speak to the public as the People’s Housemate, or so he thinks.

In fact, he won’t be communicating with the public at all any longer, rather it’ll be the other housemates who will get the chance to mess with Tom as the tables turn.

The latest twist follows Friday night’s first live eviction where Tom ultimately decided who got the axe.

Mandy Longworth was axed after facing the chop alongside Lotan Carter, Imran Javeed, Raphael Korine, Sukhvinder Javeed, Rebecca Jane, Chanelle McCleary and Arthur Fulford.

The eight nominated housemates were put up for the axe by People’s Housemate Tom before viewers voted to save their favourite.

Instead, People’s Housemate Tom was called upon to pick between the bottom two – Imran and Mandy – to decide which one went.

“Imran and Mandy, one of you is about to be evicted,” Big Brother announced before giving the pair 10 seconds to tell Tom why they should stay.

Tom then delivered his decision, saying he was evicting Mandy, who had entered the house with her daughter Charlotte.

After saying her goodbyes, Mandy exited the house to cheers from the groups to speak to Emma.

Meanwhile, Charlotte remained in the house in tears as her mum became the first housemate to be evicted from the series this year.

Big Brother 2017 continues nightly on Channel 5. The latest episode airs at 9PM on Saturday night.
