X Factor's Grace Davies has signed a record deal with Syco

Grace Davies has signed a record deal with Syco following The X Factor 2017 final.

Grace went into the final as the underdog against favourites Rak-Su last month month.
The pair were the last two acts left standing this year after Kevin Davy White finished third in the first half of the final.
It was indeed Rak-Su who won The X Factor, but there was good news for Grace after a record deal offer.
It’s now been revealed she’s been signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label, alongside winners Rak-Su.

“Grace’s talent shone through on X Factor – not only as a singer but as an excellent songwriter in her own right,” a source told The Sun. “Everyone is really excited about what she is going to be doing next.”
A spokesperson confirmed: “We can confirm that Grace will be signing to Syco Music.”

Shortly after the final, Grace told fans she had already started working on her album.
She told her followers: “I never got a chance to THANK YOU all ⭐️ you have absolutely made my dreams come TRUE and today I was offered a record deal which is all down to you guys helping me get my name and my songs out there – which I am so thankful for ♥️ I am the happiest girl on the planet 🦄 x”
In a follow up message ahead of Christmas, Grace told fans: “I’ve been super busy these past couple of weeks writing new material for the album! I’ve just finished up in London and I’m about to drive home for Christmas! *cue music*.
“I just wanted to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas, I hope you have the loveliest time.
“Thank you so much for giving me the best Christmas present I could ever wish for – being a full time musician and having my music out there in the world.

During her time on the show, Grace showcased a number of original songs with Too Young peaking at Number 2 on iTunes.
Her never to be released winner’s duet was also an original, her audition song Roots which featured Paloma Faith.
