X Factor 2017: Daniel Quick is one to watch in tonight's auditions

Daniel Quick is one to watch on The X Factor 2017 tonight as auditions continue.

Daniel Quick is a 18-year-old student and supermarket worker from Bristol. He works at Iceland where everyone wants him to sing.
Appearing at the latest round of auditions, Daniel is supported by his family including his biggest fan, his mum.
But his pets – four dogs, a tortoise called Shelley, a ferret, a cockatiel and fifteen fish – are fortunately left safe at home.
“I’ve always loved doing singing and I just want to carry on doing it,” Daniel tells the judges. “I’d rather not work in a retail job for the rest of my life.”
However, Daniel admits to having never had any vocal training or experience singing in front of a big audience.
Facing Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and guest judge Alesha Dixon at the auditions, Daniel performs Ellie Goulding’s version of Elton John’s Your Song.

“You do have a great voice,” says Alesha, “I think there is room for improvement for your vocal arrangement, that will come with experience.”
Simon meanwhile compares Daniel to his pet tortoise Shelley….
Will Daniel make the next round?
Tune in to The X Factor tonight to find out and watch their audition.
Other acts on tonight’s show include Bukky Shitu who gets flirty with Simon and Harrison Styles whose name requires a double take.
We also meet a number of contestants who have flown in from afar: There’s boyband trio JBK from the Philippines, Elysa from Australia and Deanna from Anguilla, a British colony in the Caribbean.
The X Factor 2017 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV.
