The Voice UK 2018 preview: Lucy Milburn sings for the coaches

Here’s your first look at The Voice UK 2018 this weekend as Lucy Milburn takes to the stage.

The Blind Auditions continue in the second instalment of The Voice UK on ITV.
Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones are back as coaches for this year’s series alongside new coach Olly Murs.
The fabulous four piece are on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer, with this year’s winner scooping a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.
As always, the first stage is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.

If the coaches like what they hear, they bash their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten. If more than one spins then it’s up to the act to pick which team to join.
With only ten spots to fill on each coach’s team, the competition is fierce and already places are filling up.

After last week’s first weekend, Olly and Jennifer have two singers and Sir Tom and Will have one performer apiece.
Hoping to join them is 20-year-old Lucy Milburn from Sheffield.
She sings Amber Riley’s Colorblind but will any of the coaches turn?
The competition heats up as will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs and Sir Tom Jones search for a singing superstar.
There will be more twists and turns from the infamous red chairs with the coaches pitching against each other to fill their teams with the finest vocal talent.
Will the singing hopefuls produce the performance they need to secure a coveted record contract with Polydor?
The Voice UK 2018 airs Saturday night on ITV from 8PM.
