Here’s a first look at the new lot of Love Island 2017 contestants with ELEVEN newbies on their way.
Six guys and five girls will join the show this week, following tonight’s eviction which saw Simon Searles given the boot.
The six new guys are Steve, Marino, Nathan, Craig, Alex and Rob and the five new girls are Chyna, Ellisha-Jade, Danielle, Amelia and Shannen.
They’re joining as part of Love Island’s biggest ever twist with an entire second villa opening its doors.
Right now the official couples are: Marcel and Gabby, Montana and Dom, Chris and Olivia, Jonny and Camilla and Kem and Amber, while Tyla is single after Simon was evicted.
Those current couples will be split up into boys and girls across the two villas before the newbies make their entrances.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “They’re going to split all the boys and girls up so they’ll be in separate accommodation.”
It’ll be the ‘ultimate test’ for the couples as the new contestants then join both villas.
“Even more newbies are going to be sent in this week to shake things up. It’s going to be the biggest thing to happen to the show,” the source explained. “The secret location is going to be used for two or three days and new girls will be sent into the boys’ house to test them, and new boys will go into the girls’ house.
“It’s to test the loyalty of current relationships and it’s going to be explosive.”
How many couples will remain together by the end of it all?
Love Island 2017 airs nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
