A number of potential contestants on the cast of Love Island 2017 may have been revealed.
The new series of the ITV2 show kicks off very soon and while no names are official yet, there have been rumours.
One of those we could see in the villa this summer is 21-year-old Jane Parks.
The youngster has been in the papers recently after revealing plans to sue the lottery following a £1 million win when she was aged 17. Jane appeared on a number of TV shows to talk about her case, including Loose Women where supposedly members of the Love Island casting team were interested in chatting to her.
Also rumoured is the daughter of Big Brother star and tabloid favourite Lisa Appleton, Sophia-Maria.
Meanwhile, heat magazine reports that plus-sized model Melicia Chivers could make an appearance too.
“She does pole dancing, too, for strength and fitness. The show has always been about slim girls in bikinis, but they want a more diverse group this year,” a source told the magazine.
The publication also claims that Danny Latimer – who has previously appeared on reality shows Desperate Scousewives and Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands – could be a part of the line up, together with hunky fitness expert Ross Dickerson.
“Danny’s really romantic. He’s genuine and would like to find love on the show,” the source said.
Another name rumoured is personal trainer and model David Lundy, who reportedly dumped his girlfriend after signing up for the show.
However a source told The Sun that the final cast for Love Island 2017 hasn’t yet been chosen.
They explained: “Although David is in a pool of potential contestants being seen by producers for the show, the select group going into the villa hasn’t yet been decided.
“Decisions on the final line up often aren’t made until just days before the islanders enter the villa.”
The official start date for Love Island 2017 on ITV2 – which again will be hosted by Caroline Flack – hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
