IrShad Shaikh was named Britain’s Got Talent’s worst ever impressionist on tonight’s show.
But is he also one of the funniest ever?
57 year old IrShad is a self-employed salesman and impressionist from Essex. He started his act with impressions including Sylvester Stallone and The Queen.
The panel and audience weren’t too impressed but IrShad wasn’t fazed, continuing with impressions that varied from Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh to TV theme tunes.
Following the end of the audition, Simon Cowell concluded: “You are, and I’m not kidding here, the worst impressionist we’ve ever had on this show in eleven years.”
Amanda Holden told IrShad: “You were very, very funny.”
David Walliams commented: “There is a market for the worlds worst impressionist and you could be that.”
Alesha Dixon reacted: “What are you saying?!”
IrShad’s terrible impressions proved so bad that they were good enough for a spot in the next round.
David, Alesha and Amanda all gave IrShad a yes but Simon stood by his red buzzer giving a no.
Other acts on this weekend’s show included Angara Contortion who hail from Buryatia, Russia and took to the BGT stage with a body bending routine which left the Judges open-mouthed.
We also met lord of the rings, John Parnell, who took to the stage with his hula hoops and a very catchy tune to show the Judges just why he’s better known as the Hoop Guy.
But, when Simon and Alesha buzzed, John invited them to join him to show off their skills!
More hopefuls wanting yeses from the judges were the Perfect Pitch Creation choir, man band The Boyz and singer Harry Gardner.
Britain’s Got Talent 2017 continues Saturday nights on ITV.
