Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 results are in with another two acts making it through to final.
Singers The Pensionalities and dancers MerseyGirls (aka Just Us) are the next two of eleven finalists on Britain’s Got Talent 2017 this year.
They join the winners of Monday’s semi-final, mind readers DNA and singer Kyle Tomlinson, Tuesday’s semi-final winners Magicians Issy Simpson and Matt Edwards and Wednesday’s semi-final champions pianist Tokio Myers and comic Ned Woodman on the line up so far.
The BGT 2017 semi-finalists were unveiled by the judges last Saturday and tonight saw the third of five semi-finals.
After thousands applied and hundreds auditioned for the judges all around the UK, the lucky few who received three or more yeses were whittled down to the final 35 acts who join this year’s five golden buzzers.
The final 40 perform in the Britain’s Got Talent live semi- finals all this week in the hope of winning the public vote and securing an all-important place in the live grand final and the chance of winning a life changing £250,000 and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.
Each evening two acts will make the final but this year there’s a change to the voting: There is NO judges’ vote. Instead, the two acts with the highest votes from the public alone will head through to the final.
Tonight, that was Tokio Myers and MerseyGirls in first and second place respectively. They were revealed as the two most popular contestants with the public, ahead of third placed singer Reuben Gray.
Also performing tonight and missing out on an automatic place in the final were dancers Paws With Soul, balloon modeller Ryan Tracey, comedian Jonny Awsum, hoop guy John Parnell and choir Angelicus Celtis.
However it may not be the end for them just yet.
The ten finalists chosen by the public will be joined by one wildcard picked by the judges who will then go head to head in the grand finale this SATURDAY night, June 3.
For now, the Britain’s Got Talent 2017 live semi-final shows conclude tomorrow night, Friday, June 1.
The semi-finals will air from 7:30PM on ITV each evening with the results from 9:30PM.
