Britain’s Got Talent 2017 is now well underway, but who will win this year’s series?
Four weeks of auditions down, here is the latest look at the favourite contestants.
With no Golden Buzzer act on the latest round of Britain’s Got Talent auditions on Saturday, it was an episode filled with longshots progressing to the next round. However two acts stood out and have gone into the betting as potential champions.
Russian contortionists, Angara Contortion, wowed as they showcased their incredibly flexible moves and went into the betting as the third favourites at 7/1.
Harry Gardner also impressed with his original song ‘Not Alone’, about his nanny with Alzheimer’s. The Essex native joins fellow singers St Patrick’s Junior Choir, Reuben Gray and The Miss Treats at 10/1 to win.
Right now at the top of the odds, Missing People Choir have shortened further as the favourites to win and are now 5/2 from 3/1, with Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer Sarah Ikumu remaining the 9/2 second favourite.
Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented: “The majority of the acts making it through on Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent featured at the lower end of the betting, bar two. Angara Contortion mesmerised with their performance and are threats to the title at 7/1, with singer Harry Gardner also in with a shot at 10/1”
She added “Missing People Choir have been cut to the 5/2 favourites from 3/1, but the choir causing us the most concern is St Patrick’s Junior Choir from Co Down, as they now pose a large liability, suggesting their 10/1 price might not last much longer.”
